ho would have thought watermelon would be a highly profitable cash crop in Kenya? WE DID! There is good market opportunity (Particularly in the urban areas). More over, when cultivated in areas such as Kanyua-bora, they can grow throughout the year, which means cash cash cash and employment opportunity all year round.

The watermelon production has not been exhausted as much as we can. There are still openings for us as entrepreneurs to make a different and their openings will create employment for everyone to earn a good livelihood. Watermelons can be grown in ¾ seasons per year on renting farmland, and utilizing optimal agricultural practices in all urban areas of Nairobi.

In the future, the business of watermelon will be supplied to south Sudan and gradually grow into international exporting.
